Asbestos Removal

The team can also handle the co ordination and removal of asbestos as part of the demolition process. During our quoting procedure we will identify asbestos and recommend the most safest and cost effective method to remove it from your site.

During the demolition process if we identify any asbestos “unexpected finds” we will cease work immediately and speak with the client to discuss the options available to keep the project on track, including discussing additional costs associated with the safe removal if the asbestos.

Internal Demolition Commercial & Residential and Strip Out

The Hives Demolition and Excavation team can provide an internal strip out service, tailoring the service to meet the scope of works and demolition plans. The team will assess the project requirements, recommend the most efficient and safe way to carry out the works. Work together with the Project Manager or Supervisor to ensure that all milestones are met. Ensure that fixtures, fittings and materials to be reused on site are not damaged during the strip out process.

Prior to providing a quotation we will ask for a copy of the DA and demolition plans.
We will provide a written quotation within the agreed timeframe.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to supply temporary fencing?

If you are building straight away on the site you can co ordinate with your builder to provide the temporary fencing, this will keep your costs down, if this is not possible we are happy to include the fencing in our quote.

Do I have to organise disconnection of power, water and sewer?

Yes, we ask you to provide us with proof of disconnection in writing from the relevant tradesperson who carried out the disconnection. However if you would like us to organise this service on your behalf please let us know and we can include it in the quote.

Will you lodge the Safe Work NSW Demolition Notification on our behalf?

Yes, we will lodge the Notification of Demolition with Safe Work NSW, five days prior to commencing the project.

Can you organise our CDC for us (Complying Development Certificate)?

Yes, the Hives Demolition team can organise the CDC if this is not included in the DA. We can work with you to complete this process, during the quotation process we can address this requirement and help you understand the process.
